Kurzbiographie

Christoph Ledermann hat am KIT Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik studiert und 2016 im Fachbereich Informatik promoviert. Thema der Dissertation war die "Formerfassung eines flexiblen Instruments für die minimal invasive Chirurgie" mittels faseroptischer Sensoren (Faser-Bragg-Sensoren).
Nach einem Ausflug in die Industrie (bei ITK Engineering GmbH und Visteon Electronics Germany GmbH), bei dem er wertvolle Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen hinsichtlich Arbeitsprozessen und funktionaler Sicherheit in der Automobilindustrie sammeln konnte, kehrte Christoph Ledermann 2018 ans IPR zurück, um die Forschungsgruppe "Safety in Robotics and HRI" aufzubauen und zu leiten.
